Whether you’ve been an ambassador for months and aren’t seeing the return you know you have the potential to make, or you’re just starting out and wondering what you need to do to succeed, this article was made to help you! We’ve reached out to our top-performing ambassadors and asked them what they do to generate tons of sales as a brand ambassador, and create a steady income. We’ve taken their advice and condensed it to 8 easy things you can do to increase your sales as a brand ambassador here!
1. Put your 15% off code in your Instagram bio
Why should you do this? If someone remembers seeing that you posted about a discount code, and then goes to your profile to find it, having the code in your bio alleviates the need for one of your followers to have to find the exact post. The less work the customer has to do = more sales.
2. Linking to products when you post
Something that’s super easy, and super worth it: if you post about a product you’re promoting with your code, put the link to that product in your bio. In your caption for that post, tell people that they can shop the link in your bio for that piece. The less clicking and searching your follower has to do, the better.
3. Post stories & tag us
Though a re-post is not necessarily guaranteed, we do try to repost our ambassador stories often. Who better to share your code with than people already following us?
4. Post on more than one platform
Though the ambassador program is designed for Instagram, you can expand and share your codes on all sorts of additional sites like Tumblr, Pinterest, Facebook, and so many more. The more people you are able to reach, the more likely you are to make sales.
5. Use hashtags that generate interest
Hashtags are one of the best tools you can use to reach a larger audience than just your followers. When you’re picking a hashtag, think about the person that you want to purchase the product you’re advertising and what that person would be searching for. If you’re posting a picture of you in a Frida Shirt then put #fridashirt or #shirtdiscount if you’re promoting a deal #dealsdealsdeals catch my drift?
6. Don’t wait to start promoting your code
Just because you haven’t gotten an item in the mail yet, doesn’t mean you can’t promote your code. Our most successful ambassadors post their code often in stories, on other platforms often! Some ambassadors even do video stories of them adding products to their cart and showing their followers how we allow you to donate to the charity of your choice. Posting can be as creative as you want it to be–why limit yourself?
7. Unboxing stories are like a secret weapon
We often get messages from our customers about how much they love their jewelry packaging, and what a fun surprise it was. Believe it or not, if customers are on the fence about buying a product, but then find out that the packaging is new and different, they are way more likely to purchase a product for the unboxing experience. So if you ordered jewelry from us, post a story of you unboxing your hot-pink envelope and let the sales come in!
8. But the most important thing is...
You’re a human, and humans talk to each other! When you’re wearing a product and someone comments on it, tell them where you got it and give them your discount code! When your friends and family asks you what you’ve been up to, tell them about your ambassador status, and show them products they might like on our site. Reply to people that comment on your post asking where you got that shirt. If we were to narrow this list down to just one thing, it would be this one.
